WEEKEND POETRY EXTRAVAGANZA: I can't remember when there was so many poetry events happening in the same weekend here in the ATL. I'm attached to three of them. GEORGIA STATE UNIVERSITY
A release party and special reading by Beth Gylys from her new collection, Matchbook. The poems in this collection are written as newspaper personal ads written by people looking for love and more. Interpreting the poems will be a host of Atlanta's well-known poets, including Katie Chaple, Mike Dockins, Rupert Fike, Lisa Allender, Cheryl Stiles, Michele Rozga, Dustin Brookshire and Collin Kelley. The reading and party will be held in the Troy Moore Library, General Classroom Building, 9th Floor.

Coll, I'm so looking forward to Friday night...and Saturday, and Monday!
My only wish is that we could've had all these events "spread out" a bit(sigh), so we could attend ALL of them!
I hope I will be able to make it on Monday... it'll depend on how work goes.
