BARNES & NOBLE @ TECH GIG A SUCCESS: There were between 30 and 40 in attendance last night for the Better To Travel performance with the Jennifer Perry Combo. We had 12 people read during the open mic. I call that a big success! Thanks to everyone who came out and for buying a copy (or copies) of the book.
EXTRA GIG: I'll be at the Barnes & Noble on Peachtree Parkway in Norcross on Sunday, Sept. 14 as the guest poet for Lisa Allender's monthly open mic. The event begins at 3 p.m. I'll be reading from the book and may even throw in a few new ones.
OFFICIAL LAUNCH PARTY: The big official launch party for Better To Travel is Friday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Fayette County Library. It's the opening night event for the Atlanta Literary Festival.
