FILM FESTIVAL EVENT: Wednesday, May 7 is the date for "Jules et Jim" at the Goethe Institut in Atlanta. Collin will introduce the film and lead discussion afterwards. See the details in the post below about the French-German Film Festival.

JUST ANNOUNCED: Collin will be a featured poet at the Decatur Arts Festival on Saturday, May 24. Instead of reading his own poetry, Collin will read Anne Sexton's classic "Music Swims Back to Me" as part of the Favorite Poem Project. The event begins at 3 p.m. More details as they become available.

FROM COLLIN: The Atlanta Peace Poets even on Monday, May 5 was a huge success with over $300 raised for the Red Cross to help victims in the Middle East. A large crowd turned out to hear poetry and spoken word, including CNN commentator Jim Jennings who spoke eloquently about his visit to Iraq during the war. Thanks to Robin Kemp and everyone at the event for the warm welcome and putting together such a great program.
